You can delete your Anumi Voting account at any time. This page describes how deletion works and which data is removed or anonymised in the process.

1. Deletion from within the app

The fastest path is in the app itself:

  1. Open Anumi Voting and sign in.
  2. Tap your avatar in the top right corner.
  3. Select Delete account from the menu.
  4. Confirm the safety prompt.

The deletion runs immediately. You are signed out automatically and returned to the login screen.

2. Deletion without installing the app

If you cannot (or no longer want to) install the app, or if you prefer not to use the in-app flow, please email us at info@anumi.de with the subject “Delete account”.

Please include the email address you used to sign in (the address your Apple or Google account passes on to Anumi Voting). We will confirm receipt and complete the deletion within 14 days - usually much sooner.

For identification, please send the email from the address linked to your account. If you used Sign in with Apple with a private relay address (e.g. ...@privaterelay.appleid.com), that relay address is sufficient.

3. What data is deleted?

Upon account deletion, the following data is removed immediately and irreversibly:

4. What happens to votes and event participations?

To prevent retroactive distortion of past events, your submitted votes and event participations are retained in anonymised form:

The anonymised votes continue to count towards the result of the respective event. This preserves the integrity of past results without processing any personal data about you.

5. Server logs

Backend logs (IP address, user agent, timestamp) are deleted automatically after 14 days on a rolling basis, independently of account deletion. They contain no content data (votes, display names) and are not directly linked to your account.

6. Re-registration

You can sign in again with the same email address at any time. This creates a new account with no link to the deleted one - previously submitted votes cannot be restored.

7. Third-party authorisations

When you sign in with Apple or Google, an authentication token is processed by those providers. Anumi deletes its own account and the stored linkage; you can additionally revoke the authorisation in your Apple or Google account directly:
